tâpwêwin media is a national, Indigenous-led Canadian charity. We support Indigenous self-determination through truthful, community-rooted journalism and storytelling. We publish news and information relevant to Indigenous communities, strengthen Indigenous journalism through training, and support more responsible reporting on Indigenous peoples across the wider media sector. We also preserve and uplift Indigenous cultures, languages and community stories, guided by our belief in the beauty and strength of our communities and the value of Indigenous worldviews.Our first project — and flagship publication — is IndigiNews, a trusted Indigenous-led newsroom serving communities with integrity, heart, and cultural respect.
